Expanding the Window of What's Possible

Ventana was born from the realization that healing and growth aren't about pushing harder. They're about expanding the capacity to hold what life asks of us. After losing my grandmother to dementia and a stroke after years of caregiving and navigating the weight of grief, trauma, and chronic stress, my own nervous system reached its limit.

In the years that followed, I was diagnosed with multiple chronic illnesses, took a medical leave of absence, moved states, and completely reshaped how I lived, worked, and defined success. I had to let go of the life I thought I was supposed to have and rebuild one that honored my body's capacity.

This work is rooted in the belief that sustainable change happens when we honor our capacity. Instead of pushing through, we create space to breathe, reflect, and recalibrate. Sometimes you just need an objective third party in your corner. You don’t have to do this alone. That's why Ventana was created.

A Message from the Founder

Most people are trying to scale their lives, healing, or organizations on top of a nervous system that is already at capacity. Over time, that mismatch shows up as overextension, burnout, and overwhelm- whether on an individual or organizational level.

I'm Noelle, owner and founder of Ventana. Built from my own chronic illness journey, where my life was completely disrupted and I had to rebuild from the ground up. Ventana was created to help people navigate moments of capacity shift- whether they're ready to expand what they're currently holding or are just beginning and want to build in a way that aligns with their capacity from day one.

Clients come to Ventana through two primary entry points.

1) Individual Health Coaching: The person experiencing trauma, burnout, or chronic illness rebuilding personal capacity.

2) Organizational Health Coaching: The founder, entrepreneur, non-profit leader, or manager increasing their organization's capacity.  Perhaps their goal is to improve organizational health, increase operational capacity, or build healthier, more sustainable systems.

While the contexts differ, both are grounded in the same capacity-based framework.

Clients come to us when they realize their current systems- whether internal habits, life structures, or organizational workflows and processes- can no longer support the level of growth or responsibility they are carrying.

At Ventana, we bridge individual and organizational capacity so that growth doesn't exceed what people and systems can sustainably hold. The result is healthier individuals, healthier organizations, and growth that is aligned, resilient, and built to last.

I’m Noelle -

Long before this business, the degrees, the certification, I lived the classic Type A overachiever story:

  • Honors programs, leadership roles, captain of sports teams, president of student organizations.

  • I thrived on achievement, performance, and setting high standards - believing that success was built through hard work and endurance.

After losing my grandmother after a five year battle with dementia and a major stroke, my body collapsed under the weight of long-held trauma, unrelenting stress, and years of putting others' needs ahead of my own.

I wasn’t just grieving her loss - I was grieving the loss of the able-bodied, unstoppable version of myself I had always believed I had to be.

Over the course of two years, I received a constellation of diagnosis:

  • Long COVID,

  • Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS),

  • Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (hEDS),

  • Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS),

  • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS/ME),

  • Endometriosis,

  • Narcolepsy,

  • Fibromyalgia,

  • Autism,

  • ADHD

It got dark. Literally and metaphorically. There were times I couldn't be in the sunlight, I had to relearn how to read, write, button a shirt, what the word was for simple things like a hat. It was the most terrifying thing I've ever experienced.

Chronic illness completely disrupted my life. I was no longer on the VP track of the consulting company I was worked at in Washington DC, I took a leave of absence from work, relationships ended as my needs and abilities changed, I moved states to see if it would help my healing. My world got so small.

Everything I thought I was... I could no longer be. All the identities that created my self-worth were instantly gone.

I rebuilt every aspect of my life based on my new capacity and what felt like a completely different mind and body. How I ate, played, lived, moved my body, built relationships, etc. all looked completely changed. I felt the most alone I had ever felt in my life.

Over many years, I found what worked for my mind, body, and expanding life that I was building. And now my life's mission is to partner with individuals and organizations when capacity grows slowly and sustainably.
